Akeem Malachi James Carr was born on April 14, 1997 to the late Renell Sutter and Arthur Carr in Manhattan, New York. He entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 6, 2019. Home-Going Celebration will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 329 Savage Street, Walterboro, South Carolina. Reverend Wayne G. Carter, Host Pastor, Elder Aaron Haynes, Eulogist. Interment, Eastside Memorial Gardens, Walterboro, South Carolina. Public viewing will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the S-M-T Chapel of Serenity.
He attended the public schools of New York during his earlier years, but later obtained his G.E.D. He worked several jobs in the food industry.
The things that Akeem loved most was his daughter and Jesus. He loved outside (nature).
He was preceded in death by his mother, Renell Sutter; grandfather, Douglas Sutter and one uncle, Michael Sutter.
He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter Sadiees Graham; two brothers, Zaquan (Lenolda) Corbett and Talaal Sutter; two sisters, Shakeema Carr and Sharesa Carr; grandmother, Rosa Lawton of Walterboro, South Carolina; two uncles, Jake Sutter of Wilkes Barre, PA and Waamiq Bey of Jamestown, PA; one aunt, Wanda Wactor of Bronx, New York; four nieces, three nephews and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
