Ms. LaShonda Dene Williams was born January 28, 1978 in Colleton County to the late Charles Williams and Vanessa Williams. She entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Colleton Medical Center, Walterboro, South Carolina. Home-Going Celebration will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Deep Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 12816 Sniders Highway, Islandton, South Carolina. Reverend Tyrone Beckett, Pastor and Eulogist. Interment, Church Cemetery. A public viewing will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the S-M-T Chapel of Serenity.
LaShonda attended the public schools of Colleton County and graduated from Ruffin High School with the class of 1997 along with many of her friends. She continued her education at Denmark Technical College, in Denmark South Carolina. She was employed at Fort Jackson, Columbia, South Carolina. She was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church, and dedicated her service to the Junior Choir, Usher Board and Kitchen Committee. She worked in Hickory Hill United Methodist Church as well, with her mother. She always had a pleasant smile and warm heart and was dearly loved by everyone that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Williams, a grandmother, Sadie Mae Williams, a grandfather, Willie Folk, aunts, Mary Ann McFadden and Monica Williams, uncles, Tyrone Williams and Bernard Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Vanessa Williams of Islandton, SC; grandmother, Aszalee Sease, Islandton, SC; grandfather, Vander Williams, Jr., Islandton, SC; uncle, David Williams (Cheryl), Islandton, SC; aunts, Lula Harrison (Christopher), Walterboro, SC, Dianne Townsend (Clifford), Hollywood, SC, Veronica Griffin (Lonnie), Early Branch, SC, Terria Wilson (Ernest), Lodge, SC and Annette Folk, Columbia, SC; great aunts, Barbara Goff, Ruffin, SC, Seal Folk, Denmark, SC, Easter Bell Folk, Maine; three god-sisters, Denise Crosby, Eva Holmes and Emerald Pyatt,and a host of other relatives and friends.
