Paul Harrison

 Paul Harrison, son of the late Levi and Laura Bell Harrison was born on March 3, 1932 in Colleton County, South Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on August 8, 2019 at Colleton Medical Center, Walterboro, South Carolina.  Home-Going Celebration will be held Thurdsay, August 15, 2019 at St. John Baptist Church, 119 Saint Johns Drive, Walterboro, South Carolina.  Reverend Prince Polite, Pastor and Eulogist.  Interment, Woodfoot Cemetery, Round O, South Carolina.  A public viewing will be held Wedneday, August 14, 2019 at the S-M-T Chapel of Serenity from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  

 He attended the public schools of Colleton County. He moved to Long Island, New York and from there, he settled in Bridgehampton, New York. He returned to his hometown of Neyles, South Carolina in 2006.

At an early age, he attended St. John Baptist Church before his departure to the north. During his stay in Bridgehampton, New York, he worked at King Collins Grocery Store for eighteen years. In addition, he worked at an Animal Shelter where he shared his love for animals.

 Preceding him in death are one grandson, Herbert Manigo, Jr.; three brothers, George Edward Harrison, his twin brother, Silas Harrison, and baby brother, John Harrison; two sisters, Willa Mae and Janie Lee, and a special aunt, Amanda Holmes.

 He leaves to cherish his memories, his one and only daughter, Kay Middleton (Samuel); one grandson, Kenneth Manigo of Walterboro, SC; two great grandchildren, Kimara Manigo and Kenneth Raynell Manigo, Jr. of Hollywood, SC; two sisters, Edna Harrison of Walterboro, SC and Margaret Brown of North Carolina; a special cousin, Helen Gantt; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
