Ms. Bobbie Jean Williams Green, daughter of the late Reverend Willie James and Ms. Rosa Lee Davis Williams, was born on February 27, 1968 in Colleton County. On Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Trident Medical Center, North Charleston, South Carolina, Bobbie Jean answered her master's call and peacefully entered into eternal rest. Home-Going Celebration will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Lovely Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 408 Augusta Highway, Smoaks, South Carolina. Reverend Floyd W. White, Pastor and Eulogist. Interment, Church Cemetery. (AT THE REQUEST OF THE FAMILY THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC VIEWING). There will be a Final Viewing at the Church.
She was educated in the public schools of Colleton County. She was a member of Summerville Miracle Center in Summerville, South Carolina under the leadership of Apostle Larry Brown, Shiloh Baptist Church, Cameron, South Carolina and under the leadership of the late Reverend Willie James Williams, Sr. (her father). She later united and became a member of Lovely Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Smoaks, South Carolina under the leadership of Bishop Floyd W. White. She attended Sunday School and enjoyed traveling to various churches, unions, and conventions. She enjoyed writing poems and her grandchildren.
She was married to her former husband, Mr. Otis Green, Jr. and to this union one daughter was born.
She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Ms. Jennifer Butler and Ms. Odessa Green of Smoaks, South Carolina; one son, Mr. Timothy Williams of Smoaks, South Carolina; six grand children, Jashaun Brown, Jaden Young, Jakavion Doctor, SharRon (Maurice) Jenkins, Jr. Jurrell Jenkins, and Jenae Jenkins; her mother, Ms. Rosa Lee Williams of Smoaks, South Carolina; a brother, Mr. Willie J. (Shonda) Williams, of Conyers, Georgia; a cousin raised in the home as a sister, Ms. Leola Williams of Smoaks, South Carolina; aunts, Ms, Mary F. Butler, Ms. Daisy Williams, Ms. Mary Lou Black, Ms. Sadie Mae Jordan, Ms. Maggie L. Davis and Mrs. Albertha Salley; uncles, Mr. Johnnie C. (Rena) Williams; nieces, Ms. Charisma Williams and Ms. Jalaysia Williams; nephew, Mr. Delante Williams; special friends, Deaconess Margaree Richardson and Ms. Natalie Harrison (Colleton Courtyard), and a host of other relatives and friends.
