Charles H. Cofer, Sr.

Mr. Charles H. Cofer, Sr. of Smoaks, South Carolina formerly of Washington, DC entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 3, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  Charles was born December 29,1940 in Washington, DC to the late Walter Cofer and Elnoria Copeland Cofer. 

Graveside Service will be held Thurday, April 9, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, Maryland.  A  viewing will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Stephens-Maree-Tracy Funeral Home Chapel of Serenity from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon .  

Charles leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Ethel S. Cofer; his children, Debrah Akas, Patricia Cary, Charles Cofer, Jr. (Melanie), Sharon Wilford (CJ), Michael Cofer (Jackie), Kevin Cofer, and Thomas Williams; three grandchildren, Charles Robert Cofer, Jaylen Cofer, and Justin Cofer; one great granddaughter, Charlie Renee Cofer; eight sisters; four brothers; his god children, Vearnetta Manley (Tyree), Gregory Taylor, Jr., Eric Dykes, Daniel Bell, Jimmy Bell, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
