Charlie Edward Martin, II

Charlie Edward Martin, II was born in Walterboro, South Carolina on April 29, 1992 to Retha Mae Martin and Robert Brown. He entered into eternal rest on April 25, 2021 at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, South Carolina.

As a youth, he was baptized and attended Jedidiah African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church in Jonesboro, Georgia.

He attended the Public Schools of Decatur, Georgia and Colleton County Public Schools in Walterboro, South Carolina. He enjoyed spending time with his kids, and his family and will be truly missed by all that loved him.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Ha'keem Rutledge.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories: his four adorable children, Aniyah Kirkland, Charlie Edward Martin, III, Karter Gregory, and Charley Martin; mother, Retha Mae Martin (Marty) of Greenpond, South Carolina; father, Robert Brown (Marilyn) of Charleston, South Carolina; stepfather, Isiah L. Manigault (LaToria) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; five sisters, Antonette Manigault of Dallas, Texas, Whitney Manigault of Columbia, South Carolina, Shadonna Rutledge of Summerville, South Carolina, Tabatha Brown of Walterboro, South Carolina and Doretha Brown of Greenpond, South Carolina; four brothers, Joshua Manigault of Tallahassee, Florida, Niger Rutledge of Walterboro, South Carolina, Darron Mungin of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Andre Mungin of Greenpond, South Carolina; three special God brothers, Antonio Davis, Raheem and Tyreke Simmons; seven aunts, Lydia Peele (Leonard), Mary Lee Myers, Ivenia Robinson, Julie Brown (Thomas), Nadine Brown, Linda Brown (Ferris), and Nequa Brown (Kevin);  seven uncles, Earl Brown, Richard Lee Brown (Gulina), Jerome Brown, Edward Brown, James Johnson, John Johnson and Issac Martin;  a great-grand aunt, Rosemary Gray Martin and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
