Christopher Eugeon Bonner

Christopher Eugeon Bonner also known as “Chris-Cre” of Goose Creek, South Carolina was born on February 4, 1993, at St. John’s Hospital in Queens, New York to Bernard Raymond and Kima Bonner. He passed away on June 25, 2024, at Trident Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina, due to a car accident he had on June 2, 2024.

Chris grew up in New York City and went to Public School P.S. 72. He attended Church and loved his family. Growing up with his cousins, he always thought that he was much older than he was. He felt that he was the protector.   He visited his dad and stayed with his granddad for two years in Jacksonville, North Carolina before returning to New York. He moved to South Carolina in 2004, at the age of eleven years old. He didn’t like the country life at all at first, but later, you could not tell him that he didn’t live in South Carolina all of his life. He attended Colleton Middle School and Colleton High School. After high school he started working as a heavy machinery operator. 

Chris was the father of six beautiful children and had a loving girlfriend. He loved being a father. It was his greatest gift. He was very family oriented, always trying to make peace, smiling, dancing, making rap songs and making up songs knowing that he couldn’t sing. He was not concerned. He often called his family and talked for hours. He was a momma’s boy and didn’t care who knew it. He was loved and had touched the lives of so many people. He made family every where he went and thought he was a King.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernadette Raymond and Ronald Moody, stepbrother, Khyreik Hamlin

He leaves to cherish his loving memories his parents, Bernard Raymond and Kima Bonner; children, Love Chris Howard, Nevaeh Amiyah Grate, Lovie Muneca Howard, Caliah Emani Bonner, Camille Elise Bonner, and Cairo Emir Bonner; grandparents, Joseph Raymond, Judy Washington (Paul); siblings, Starr B. Raymond, Joshua Cheristin, Bernard Marc Raymond, Carline Beauvais; stepsisters and brothers, Carl Hamlin, Jr., Christopher Lamont (Ebony), Natalie Williams-Mouzon, Cedric Clayton, Starkedria Hamlin, Carlos Hamlin, Anrea Hamlin, Justin McCall, Jamal Green, Jaheem Black and Zhane Hamlin; aunts and uncles, Vochelle Malcom (Steve), Tonia Bonner, Monique Bonner Alexander (Martin), Sharon Bonner, Billy Bonner, Jr., Kisha Bonner, Gary Raymond, Pierre Raymond, Jean Raymond, Gina Raymond best friend who was like a brother, Big “B” and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, other mothers, other relatives and friends.
