Cleveland Grant, Jr.

Cleveland Grant, Jr. was born August 3, 1949 to the late Mr. Cleveland Grant, Sr. and the late Mrs. Rena Buckner Grant. He was known as Cleve Jr. or Junior by his family and friends, but to his nieces and nephews, he was simply just Uncle Bubba. On Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at his home, God saw fit to dispatch an angel from Heaven to escort Cleveland to his heavenly mansion that He had prepared for him.

Cleveland worked as a farmer until his health prevailed. He was a loving and caring father, brother, nephew and friend. He will always be remembered by his warm smile and friendly personality.

He was preceded in death by two of his sons, Perry Cleveland Grant and Aubrey Jermaine Grant; his parents, Cleveland and Rena Grant; three sisters, Rena Mae Grant, Loretta Grant and Julia Mae Grant.

Cleveland leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Mrs. Betty Grant of Hampton, South Carolina; a devoted daughter, Ms. Shaucon Laura Grant of Early Branch,

South Carolina; two sons, Mr. Tyrone Grant and Curtis Grant of Hampton, South Carolina; one grandson, Dama-ri Grant; one brother, Mr. Harry Lee Grant of the

home; six aunts, Amelia Grant, Mae Helen Grant, all of Brooklyn, NY, Mrs. Clara B. Jones, Jacksonville, FL, Mrs. Dorothy (Marshall) Davis, Islandton, SC, Mrs. Mary

Buckner, Jacksonville, FL, Mrs. Barbara Buckner, Florence, SC; four uncles, Mr. Leroy Buckner, Mr. Joseph Buckner and Mr. Talbert Glover all of Lodge, SC and Mr.

David Buckner, Islandton, SC; a dedicated niece, Ms. Hope Grant of Augusta, Georgia, and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
