Deacon Hercules Miller

Hercules Miller was born February 3, 1939, to the late Fannie Cauley Miller and Hampton Miller, Sr.  He received his wings and entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 20, 2026.

He joined Bull Swamp Baptist Church at an early age. Deacon Hercules Miller was ordained as a deacon in 1977 and was appointed chairman of the deacon board in 1999 where he served faithfully until the Lord called him home.  

He was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Willie L. Miller on June 29, 1963. In this union they had three children.

Hercules was preceded in death by his wife, Willie L. Miller; four brothers, Hampton Miller Jr., Laurie Miller, Jimmy Eugene Miller and Leon Miller, two sisters Annie M. Jenkins and Jessie M. Hampton.

He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Valerie (James) Murkison of Jonesboro, GA, Yvette Miller of Duluth, GA; one son Christopher Miller of Arlington, VA. Six grandchildren, Ashley (Greg), Hampton (Kay), Taylor (Lewis), Myles (Imani), Lauryn and Jordyn; five great-grandchildren, Karmelo, Hazel, Blake, Kendall and Honey. One sister Osie Gathers (Earnest) of North Charleston, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
