Dosha Mae Dingle was born on September 23, 1943, to Elijah Booket and Lovenia Wright in Holly Hill, South Carolina. She entered into eternal rest on May 16, 2022 at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, South Carolina.
Dosha was educated at Robert High School in Holly Hill, South Carolina.
At a young age, she married William Fuller, from that union came Louise and William Fuller Jr. She later moved to Miami, Florida and married Herman Baptiste and from that union came Jonathan and Herman Baptiste.
She worked in the hospital industry and later met her Husband of 34 years Gary Dingle.
She served as a Deaconess at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Round O, South Carolina.
Dosha was a dedicated mother, grandmother, great grandmother, auntie, sister and friend. She had a beautiful spirit and was always ready to show up and show out for her family. She loved to socialize with friends and family. She loved to cook, bake cakes and pies. She was especially known for her peach cobbler and sweet potato pies. She also loved to attend church, go fishing, gardening, and shopping. She was known for her sense of style and spooky personality.
She was preceded in death by John Bookhart Sr., Angie Banks, Lovenia Booket, Joe Bookhart (Margaret), Cecil Bookhart, Silva, and Carrie.
Dosha leaves to cherish her fond memories: her husband Gary Dingle; her children Jonathan Baptiste, Herman Baptiste, Louise Hayes, and William Fuller Jr.; her grandchildren and great grandchildren; one surviving brother Elijah Booket from Rome, Georgia; daughters-in-law, Lavern Baptiste, and Sheryl Fuller; son -In-Law, Kenny Hayes and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
