Willie Lee Milton Miller was born June 3, 1944 to the late Lessie Mae Milton and Isaac Milton, Sr. She received her wings and entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 11, 2023. She joined Bull Swamp Baptist Church at an early age, where she served faithfully as a Deaconess and President of the Missionary Board.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Hercules Miller on June 29, 1963. June 29, 2023, they would have celebrated 60 years of marriage. Willie was a caregiver at heart and loved to work in her yard.
Willie was preceded in death by five sisters, Lucille Bonaparte, Elease Hunter, Alqueen Brinkley, Pernice Thompson, and Dorothy Milton; two brothers, Edward Milton and Isaac Milton, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memories: A devoted husband, Hercules Miller; two daughters, Valerie (James) Murkison of Jonesboro, GA, Yvette Miller of Duluth, GA; one son, Christopher Miller of Hyattsville, MD; six grandchildren: Ashley, Hampton, Taylor, Myles, Lauryn, and Jordyn. Two great grands: Hazel and Blake; one sister, Evelyn McClain of Goldsboro, NC, one sister-in-love, Osie Gathers of North Charleston, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
