Donald Frank Youmans was born on June 19, 1944 to the late Eddie and Lula Youmans. He entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 4, 2022, in Colleton County, at the age of 78.
He was educated in Colleton County Public Schools and lived the remainder of his life in Walterboro, South Carolina.
Donald served diligently as a Custodian in a myriad of locations including but not limited to the City of Walterboro, South Carolina, First Baptist Church, and First Federal Bank for many years. His tireless work ethic and generosity were observed by many and benefited those with whom he came in contact.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Lula Youmans; wife, Joan Youmans; siblings, Eddie Youmans, Jr., Wallace Youmans, and Betty Youmans.
Donald is lovingly remembered by his six children, Clement (Rhonda) Ancrum of Savannah, Georgia, Richard (Althea) Hutchinson, and Karen (Robert) Wade of Columbia, South Carolina, Irene Youmans-Copeland of Savannah, Georgia, Donald (Regina) Youmans of Pfafftown, North Carolina, Bryan (Natasha) Youmans of Beaufort, South Carolina; fourteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; siblings, Ronald (Mary) Youmans and Veronica (John) Shark of Walterboro, South Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
