Dorothy Charlotte Dobison-Stewart

Dorothy Charlotte Dobison-Stewart was born on February 17, 1955, to the late Mr. Willie C. Dobison, Sr. and Annie Hodges Dobison. She entered eternal rest on April 14, 2026.Charlotte attended the public schools of Colleton County and graduated from Ruffin High School in 1972.

She joined Oakman Branch Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. Charlotte worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in New York for many years until her health began to decline.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie C. (Annie) Dobison, Sr.; her siblings, Carrie Bell Edwards and George Edward Dobison; and an infant son.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her precious memories: her husband, Eon Stewart; one son, Shaikha Osceola Hughes; her brothers, Willie (Annie) Dobison, Chris Dobison, and Clyde (Magnolia) Dobison, Sr.; her sisters, Julie Fishburne and Hattie Wade; one uncle, Freddie Hodges; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
