Earline Julia Glover

Earline Julia Glover, daughter of the late Lacky and Rosa Gant, was born on December 25,1929.  The Lord whispered her name and she quietly answered on the morning of Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at the home of her daughter, Carrie Myers.

Mother Earline was a woman of quiet wisdom. She was a soft-spoken woman and had a quiet spirit. She loved her family.  She was a no-nonsense woman. She didn't entertain any foolishness or any drama. She was an awesome prayer warrior that gave us such wisdom to be a better person in life. She loved her family and served her church faithfully when she could. Mother Earline was also affectionately known as “Cordell Cotton Top," "Sister,” “Grip," "Grandma," "Rooster," "Boo Boo," "Grandma Earline," and  "Grandma Josh."

She was married to the late Josh Glover and to this union ten children were born. Her husband, Josh had two other children that she helped raise as well.

Mother Earline was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Josh Glover; six children, Joshua Glover, Raylee Campbell, Charles Checks, David Glover, Ricky Glover and Doris Glover Williams; four grandchildren, Josh Glover, Jr., Jermaine Glover, Elaine Glover and Maurice Williams.

She leaves her legacy and dearest memories to five daughters, Carrie Glover-Myers, Rose Ann Glover, Karen Glover, Diane Glover and Sharon Glover-Holmes all of Walterboro, SC; one son, Kenneth Glover of NC; twenty-seven  grandchildren, Gary Glover (Tameka) of Savannah, GA, Donna Patterson of Lithonia, GA, Tammy Sanders of Decatur, GA, Adrian Glover, Donte Johnson, Shalika Powell all of Walterboro, SC, Tameka Glover of Decatur, GA, David Glover, Jr. of Brooklyn, NY, CJ (Jalisa) Myers of Ladson, SC, Eloise Glover of Easley, SC, Gregory Bomar, of Walterboro, SC, Kenneth Bailey of Atlanta, GA, Denzel Glover of Walterboro, SC, Karon Glover, Jaron Glover, Tony Bedford all of Walterboro, SC, Quantis Sanders, Sierra Sanders, Davon Glover, Rochelle (Woodrow) Davis, all of Walterboro, SC,  Julius Holmes, Jr. of Florida,  Jessica (Ivory) Williams of Walterboro, SC, Ashley Holmes of Moncks Corner, SC, Lawanda (Kevin) Holmes of Walterboro, SC, and Patrice (Mike) Mosley of Walterboro, SC; forty-one great-grandchildren; fifteen  great-great-grandchildren; four great-great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Flora Bouges of Walterboro, SC, and a host of other relatives and friends.
