Eartha L. Mack was the daughter of the late Edward Mack and Mary Bell Spigner Mack. She was born on February 10, 1945, in Orangeburg, SC and entered eternal rest on December 15, 2024.
Eartha was a lifelong member of Bull Swamp Baptist Church in Orangeburg and was educated in the Orangeburg Public Schools where she was a member of Wilkinson High School’s Class of 1964. She was employed at Smith Corona, Wamsutta Industry, and Velcorex (formerly Greenwood Mills) in Orangeburg.
Eartha was preceded in death by her siblings Edward “Rob”, Ernestine “Stine”, Julia Mae, Emma Louise, Isaiah “Boo”, Pansy Ann, Sadie Mae, Nathaniel, and Wilhemenia.
Left to cherish many fond memories are her two daughters, Tara “NeeCee” Mack and Carmen Michelle (Terrian) Glover both of Orangeburg, SC. She is also survived by a sister Mary L. Mack; two brothers, Deacon Herbert (Virginia) Mack and Johnnie (Loretta) Mack, all of Orangeburg; grandchildren, Danielle (reared in the home), Terrian, Jr., Abrianah, Treveion, Kharon, and Kameron; great-grandchildren, Kai, Makaiyah, Kanaan, and Kairo; two aunts, Lavinia Spigner and Ruth Brown, both of Orangeburg, a niece reared in the home, Jennifer “Tanika” Britt, of Huntsville, Alabama and a host of other special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
