Eddirick was born in Darlington County to Robert Cherry and the late Modena Mitchell on May 30, 1984 at Byerly Hospital in Hartsville, South Carolina. He departed his earthly life on Friday, September 20, 2024 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina.
He received his education in the Darlington County School District and graduated from Hartsville High School, Class of 2002. He worked for Carriage House of Hartsville, DCDSNB “Scott Center,” City of Hartsville and Ahlstrom.
Eddirick loved shopping, spending time with family, exploring local flea markets, taking walks in the park, listening to music while riding, visiting his son’s college campus to walk and spend time with him and making others laugh.
Eddirick was BIG on family and helping them however he could. He was a very strong person and brought laughter and light to any situation. Eddirick was very comical, but overall he enjoyed seeing others happy and in good spirits. Even in his battle, he still laughed, smiled, talked his junk, joked around and held on to hope. He was a fighter.
Eddirick was preceded in death by his mother, Modena Mitchell.
