Mr. Edwin Harvard Parker was born August 23, 1986 at the Memorial Medical Hospital in Savannah, Georgia to Mr. Harvard and Mrs. Teretha Parker. On Wednesday morning our hearts were broken and faces sadden when Jesus called Edwin home on June 15, 2022 to take his eternal rest.
Edwin was lovingly called "Jack" by family and friends. He was a happy and loving soul that loved to laugh and smile and once you met him, you would never forget that smile. Edwin was truly loved by family and friends.
He was educated in the public schools of Colleton County and graduated from Colleton County High School. He was baptized at Hunter's Chapel Baptist Church by Reverend T. J. Stephens. During his life time he has received many certificates and many awards. Jack did a lot in his short life but mainly blessed with life and blessed to outlive the life expectancy of a child with Cerebral Palsy (CP) and we, the family, are very thankful to Jesus for that, because he taught us a lot about life.
Edwin was preceded in death by Master Edward Jenkins.
His life will be cherished with memories by his loving parents Harvard and Teretha Parker of the home in Ruffin, South Carolina; three brothers, Santonio (Sheretta) Jenkins of Elloree, South Carolina; LaDon (Elizabeth) Jenkins of Ruffin, South Carolina; one sister, Ella (Travis) Gadsen of Walterboro; one half-sister, Tyshea Brunson of Chesapeake, Virginia; seven aunts, six uncles, four nephews, six nieces and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
