Terrance Avery Prothro, also known as "Big T," was born on July 25, 1980, in Sumter, South Carolina to the late Roger Prothro and Sarah Crowder. Terrance peacefully passed into eternal rest on September 26, 2023, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina.
Terrance graduated from Lakewood High School in 1999. At an early age, he possessed a passion for music and ministry, accepting the call of God on his life and God began to use him. At the age of fourteen, Terrance began playing for numerous churches in the area. He had over thirty years of experience in the ministry of music. He became the minister of music at Enon Missionary Baptist Church, Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, both in Sumter, South Carolina and Grace Church Ministries in Columbia, South Carolina, and many others. He was faithful and worked hard to fulfill his task in their ministries. Also, during this time, Terrance became a minister of the Gospel and preached the Word of God. He was a member Victory Praise & Worship Center under the leadership of Apostle P. F. Chambers. He was ordained as an Elder and served in many ministries at Victory Praise and Worship Center. Terrance loved God and would help anyone that came his way. During his spare time, he loved spending time with his nieces and being with close family and friends. He was loved and will be missed by many.
