Frances Jackson Pearson, born on May 31, 1930, departed this life on June 13, 2022 to meet the Lord. She was the daughter of the late Richard Beckham and the late Azell Jackson; the sister of Johnny-Mae Fields; and the loving wife of William Pearson, Sr.
Mother Pearson, or “Cille” as she was affectionately called, was a dedicated member of Greater St. Paul Non-Denominational Church where she served faithfully until her health prevented her from doing so. Mother Pearson enjoyed cooking and simply being a loving person to her children and to all she met along life’s way. She had many friends, extended family members, and Godchildren who she loved dearly. This sweet, strong, and wise woman’s presence will truly be missed.
Mother Pearson leaves to cherish her memory five surviving children out of eleven: Wanda M. Conyers, Tyrone (Caroll) Pearson, Robert Pearson, Greg Pearson, and Yvonne Matthews. She raised two of her grandchildren as her own; Theo (Janean) McShan and Zephrah Conyers. She also had twenty-two grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and five great-great-great grandchildren that will all dearly miss her.
Frances Pearson was preceded in death by her husband William Pearson Sr; and children Marion (Connie) Pearson, William Pearson, Jr., Freddie Mcshan, Ozell Mcshan, Brenda Mcshan, and Michelle Pearson.
