Helen Hayes Bolt was born on September 13, 1940 to the late Ruth and Oscar Hayes. She entered into eternal rest on January 4, 2022 at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, South Carolina.
She attended and graduated from Cleria Broughton (all girls) High School. She worked as a nurse at Princeton Nursing Home for sixteen years and ten years at Cleria Foundation. Helen was a faithful member of Faith Deliverance Healing Ministries in Branchville, South Carolina. She loved to sing and dance. Her favorite food was seafood and Baked Macaroni and Cheese.
She was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Nathaniel Bolt for fifty-four years. To this union, five children were born.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Oscar Hayes, Sr.; husband, Nathaniel Bolt, Sr.; son, Nathaniel Bolt, Jr.; daughter, Beatrice Bolt; sisters, Brenda, Mary, Francis and Dorothy Hayes; brother, Oscar Hayes, Jr.; great nephews, Kenneth Hayes and Julius "Jabo" Hayes who joined previous family members in their heavenly home.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories her children, Eleanora Bolt. Denise Bolt, and Keith Bolt; forty grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren and five generations; her siblings, Thomas, Jesse, Clarence, Gladys, and Betty Hayes and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
