James Morant, Sr. was born in Dazell, South Carolina on December 19, 1942. With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a beloved father, who transitioned on May 12, 2024.
James was a beacon of kindness, strength and wisdom, throughout his life. He touched the hearts of many with his infectious laughter, unwavering support and boundless love.
As a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, he exemplified integrity and compassion in all aspects of life. His guidance and encouragement were a source of inspiration to all who knew him, leaving an indelible mark on each soul he encountered.
James cherished his family above all else. His unconditional love and selflessness knew no bounds and his legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched.
In his spare time, he enjoyed watching TV especially western movies, sweets, doing puzzles and going on long walks. He also enjoyed music and sports. While we mourn the loss of such an extraordinary individual, we take solace in the memories we shared and the profound impact he had on our lives and forever remain in our hearts as a beacon of love, strength and hope.
He is survived by his loving wife, Flossie; his sons, James Jr. and Anthony; his daughters, Brenda and Linda; his grandchildren, Halian, Kayla, Darius, Juston and Joshua and a host of other relatives and friends, who will deeply miss him.
