Mrs. Jerline Cochran Millen was born on August 16, 1939 to the late Pearly Cochran and Maggie "Regina" Haynes in Cottageville, South Carolina. She entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 24, 2021 at her residence in Cottageville, South Carolina.
She was educated in the Colleton County Public School System. She was employed with Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, South Carolina where she retired after over fifty years of dedicated service.
Jerline became a member of Mt. Zion African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church at an early age. She served faithfully in many capacities until her health failed.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Benjamin "Frank" Millen.
Jerline was preceded in death by her parents, Pearly Cochran and Maggie "Regina" Haynes Cochran; and one brother.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her beloved husband, Benjamin "Frank" Millen; her step-daughter, Lakeisha Thomas of Raleigh, North Carolina; a granddaughter, Sekai Thomas of Raleigh, North Carolina; Special Cousins who were more like sisters, Margaret Chisolm, Clara Cochran and Diane Bellinger; three brothers-in-law, Albert Millen, Jr., Euric Millen, and Roman Millen, all of Cottageville, South Carolina; three sisters-in-law, Delores Ackerman of Brooklyn, New York, Dorothy Grice and Patricia Madyun of Irvington, New Jersey; a special cousin/niece, Tamara Chisolm of Cottageville, South Carolina and a host of other special cousins and loving friends.
