Today, we celebrate the life and memory of Jimmie Lee Wilson, Jr., affectionately known as “JuJu'. JuJu was a loving son, father, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and loving friend, who will be greatly missed. JuJu gained his Heavenly wings on Thursday, July 25, 2024 in Columbia, SC.
Our beloved JuJu was born in Sumter on April 8, 1974, to Martha Addison Wilson and the late Jimmie Lee Wilson, Sr.
JuJu was a 1992 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School in Elliott, SC. He was a former employee of Steward Recycling Center and Santee Print Works in Sumter.
Jimmie leaves to cherish precious memories: a daughter, Kenya Wilson; mother, Martha A. Wilson; two sisters, Stacie Brown and Inica Wilson; brother, Tyrell Stukes; three additional children reared in the home; Deonte’ (Brittany) Andrews, Destiny Wilson and Lekelia Wilson; aunts, Mary Smalls, Bessie (Danny) Wright, Neola Addison, Mary Ann (Esaw) Walker, Juanita Bryant and Catherine Crews; uncles, Buster (Carletha) Addison, Dennis (Willene) Addison, Robert Edwards, Isreal Moses, Jr. and Jermonte Moses; five nieces, Marisa Cooper, Ja’miah Wilson, Nyomi Stukes, Harmoni Stukes and Ma’lani Stukes; nephews, Marcus Brown and Tyreese Stukes; two great nephews, Ja’kobe Williams Cooper and Musiq Cooper, he will be greatly missed from his special friends in the Shi-town and Blvd Communities along with a host of cousins and friends who will have many memories to sustain them.
In addition to his father, Jimmie was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rembert (Neola) Addison, paternal grandparents, Isareal Moses, Sr and Mae Thelma Edwards, several aunts, uncles and other relatives.
