Joe Glenn Obituary

Joe Glenn, the son of  the late Matthew and Christina Glenn was born on August 10, 1941 in the Givhans Community of Dorchester County, South Carolina. He departed this life on July 4, 2021 at his residence.

He was educated in the Dorchester County Public School system.

Joe joined the Liberty Hill Christian Church at an early age.

He worked at Spann Elementary School in Summerville, South Carolina  for many years.  Joe was a very loving person, who loved his family. His memories, life living and openness will always  be cherished forever more.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Christina Glenn; a daughter, Tasha  Michelle Glenn, four  brothers, Robert Glenn, Sammie Glenn and Leroy Glenn and Raymond Glenn; one sister, Myrtle Glenn Singleton.

He leaves to cherish his wonderful  memories: his loving wife, Rachel Glenn of Cottageville, South Carolina; three brothers, Willie (Cynthia) Glenn of Augusta, Georgia, Steven (Katherine) Glenn of Summerville, South Carolina and David (Venora) Glenn of Summerville, South Carolina; three sisters, Stella Sanders of Summerville, South Carolina, Mary Ann (Russell) Adams of Walterboro, South Carolina, and Doretha (Louie) Jones of Ridgeville, South Carolina; two sisters-in-law, Sylvia Glenn of St. George, South Carolina and Rosadell Hampton of Ridgeville, South Carolina and  a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
