John Black Jr. age 68 was born on June 27, 1952, in Brooklyn, New York to the late John Black, Sr. and Grace Williams. He succumbed to his illness on November 25, 2020 at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, South Carolina.
Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, Smoaks, South Carolina at 12:00 Noon, Reverend J.C. Sistrunk, Pastor and Eulogist. A public viewing will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Stephens-Maree-Tracy Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m.

In his early years, he served in the United States Army. After leaving the army, He worked at many companies as a laborer/machinery operator. He spent many years in Brooklyn, New York with his children before moving to South Carolina with his Mom, whom he absolutely loved, adored and cared for until the time of her passing.
John lived life to the fullest and enjoyed it his way without caring what anyone else thought. He was outspoken and his love for his mother and daughters were to never go unnoticed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Black, Sr. and Grace Williams; his daughter, Amanda Jean Tomika Middleton.
He leaves his loving memories to cherish, his daughter, Latoya Middleton (Richard) Cooper of Brooklyn, New York; four grand children, Lashawn, Mylisha, Antione and Kaiden all of Brooklyn, New York; one great grandchild, Landon of Brooklyn, New York; brother, Jerry Lolly; sister-in-law, Linell Lolly both of Erhardt, South Carolina; a cousin, Betty Mitchell of Williams, South Carolina whom was more like a sister that loved and took care of him until the time of his passing and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins that loved him unconditionally, other relatives and friends.
It is with love that we express that John has left a lasting impression here on earth and will be missed by his family and many friends.
