Joyce Harry

Joyce Harry was born on September 6, 1956, in Bishopville, South Carolina, to the late Joe and Carrie Charles. Joyce departed this life on December 15, 2025, at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Jersey.

Joyce attended Ashwood-Central High School in Bishopville, South Carolina. She was a loving mother and wife with a heart as pure as gold. She was famously known for keeping secrets—“boy, she carried them well.” At just 23 years old, Joyce moved to New Jersey, where she built her life and career.

She worked for several years at Merrill Lynch, where she later retired as a mail clerk. Joyce graced the world quietly, in peace and honor.

Joyce leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving and devoted husband, Robert J. Harry; her loving children, Latoya Harry of Piscataway, NJ, and Natron (Sharde) Harry of Franklin Park, NJ; her stepson, Crizzon Coles of Bridgewater, NJ; her grandsons, Quamel Lonon, Damir McGowan, Taron Harry, Daishawn Coles, and Prince-Jordan Coles; her granddaughter, Royal Harry; her sisters, Diana (Horace) Perkins and Lisa Charles, both of Toms River, NJ, Melissa Hoyte of Clarksville, TN, Sheila Charles of Myrtle Beach, SC, Helen (Frank) Brown of Jonesboro, GA; brothers Joe Charles Jr of Bishopville, SC, and George Sherman (Kendra) Charles of Myrtle Beach, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nephews, great-nieces, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
