Mrs. Juanita “Stuffy” Williams, daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth Drain Stephens, was born January 27, 1957 in Walterboro, South Carolina. On Friday, February 26, 2021, Juanita health failed her. She peacefully entered eternal rest at Roper Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina.
Home-Going Celebration will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Walterboro Christian Center, Pastor Jadon Buckner, Host Pastor, Bishop Floyd W. White, Eulogist. Interment, Jacksonboro Community Cemetery. A public viewing will be held Friday, March 5, 2021 at Stephens-Maree-Tracy Funeral Home Chapel of Serenity from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Juanita was educated in the public school system of Colleton County. She was a born-again believer and a faithful member of Lovely Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Juanita attended church even when her health began to a serious decline. She also attended and participated at Greater Calvary AME Church in Jacksonboro, South Carolina.
Juanita, affectionately known as “Stuffy,” enjoyed going to flea markets, church, and gospel singing programs. She was very jovial, understanding, and loving.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Roosevelt Williams and to this union four children were born. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Roosevelt; her siblings, Christine Kelly, Patricia Stephens, Diane Stephens, Haveline Linder, Lizzy Lou George, Reatha Bell Davis, Eva Mae Stephens, Julius Stephens and William Henry Stephens.
Juanita will be lovingly remembered by her children, Betty Stephens (Mike), Smoaks, SC, Nathaniel Williams (Ella), Smoaks, SC, Jennifer Williams (Peter), Moncks Corner, SC, Felisha Ferguson (Devin), North Charleston, SC, Jaquetta Pinckney, who she embraced as her daughter; her grandchildren, Schamona Stephens, Danaejah Hallman, Michael Hallman, Jr., Nathaniel Williams, Jr. Jaquawn Williams, Malaysia Jenkins, Mariah Campbell, Montrell Jenkins, Devion Ferguson; four grand-children who she cared for as her own; her siblings, Louretta (Kenneth) Johnson, Eartha (Oscar) Chisolm, Jeanette (Johnny) Mosley, Neatha Mae Stephens, Leon (Adlene) Stephens, Edward Willie (Vonetta) Stephens; one aunt, Mrs. Nancy Middleton; sisters-in-law, Patricia Ann Gatling Stephens, Barbara Williams, Veronica Williams, Elizabeth Sawyer, Gwen Bright, Carolyn Godley; brothers-in-law, Johnny Smalls, Donald Smalls, Ralph Smalls, Jr.; special nieces, Shirlene Linder, Pauline Risher, Brenda Davis, Latrelle Goff, Laura Kelly, Rosa Lee Stephens, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
