Kelvin Junior Stinney was born on June 30, 1967 in Summerton, South Carolina to Louise Stinney Bozier and the late Henry “Buster” Stinney. Kelvin received his formal education in the public schools of Clarendon County. He later received his B.A Degree in Fine Arts from Morris College.
He worked for over 25 years for Santee Print Works in Sumter, South Carolina. At the time of his death, he was currently employed with Refuel in Bishopville, South Carolina.
Kelvin loved his family. He would talk about his daughters and their accomplishments to everyone he met. He also had a love for dogs. He was a Baltimore Ravens fan.
Kelvin was joined in Holy Matrimony to Catina Wright Stinney in 1997. They were married for 26 and a half years. Through this union they were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Tamia and Olivia.
In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, one nephew, and two brothers.
Precious and fond memories will be cherished by his loving wife, Catina Wright Stinney of the home, two daughters, Tamia Stinney of Greenville, South Carolina and Olivia Stinney of the home, his loving mother Louise Stinney Bozier and step father Jarriet Bozier both of Summerton, South Carolina, Mother in law Ruby Wright of Lynchburg, South Carolina, father in law Willis Wright of Bishopville, South Carolina, 6 sisters, 7 brothers, a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, other relatives and close friends. He also leaves a sister in law Lasharn Wright of, Bishopville, SC whom he was very fond of.
