Kenerd Lamont Allen

Kenerd Allen was born on September 19, 1984 to the late Brenda Daniels Allen and the late William Hodges. On Wednesday, December 22, 2021 in Jacksonville, Florida, Kenard departed this world for his heavenly home.

He attended the public schools of Colleton County School District. Kenerd was full of joy and had a smile that would brighten any room.

At a young age, he joined Springtown United Methodist Church. He worked roadside service for Circle C in Springtown, South Carolina and later, in 2012, became a long-distance truck driver. Kenerd loved his family and especially enjoyed being around all of his cousins.

Kenerd is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Annie Pearl Daniels; paternal grandparents, Roosevelt and Eva Hodges; two nieces; maternal aunt, Emma Lee Youmans; maternal uncles, James Jr. (Gloria) Daniels and Jackie Daniels; paternal aunt, Rose Lee Linder; paternal uncles, Charles Hodges and Johnnie Hodges.

His life’s memories and endless love will forever be cherished by his siblings, Renodia (Chris) Tomkins, Stella (Aaron) Saxby, Willie (Wanda) Allen, Roosevelt (Ericka) Allen, William Allen, Gregory (Tammy) Jenkins, and William Hodges Jr., adopted brother, Danny Osborne; devoted cousin, Lakeisha Fogle of the home;  aunts, Annie Mitchell and Silvia Simmons; uncles, Robert (Revonica) Daniels and Tommy Daniels; nieces and nephews,Markel Allen, Shykerria Allen, Kristy Tompkins, Tavion Allen, RaNiya Allen, Rodrick Allen, Devonta Allen, Nigeria Allen, Malaysha Allen, Keshawn Allen, Shamitra (Willard) Stokes, Tyqueisha Jenkins, Gregory Jenkins, Joshua Jenkins, and Nicholas Hodges; great-nieces and nephews, Brooklyn Allen, Kyrie Allen, Just'us Hodges, and Aniyah Calloway;a loving and devoted friend, Octavia Johnson of the home; Godparents, Robert and Jaquetta Glover; a God-brother and sister, Robert and Tushona Glover, and an abundance of loving cousins.
