Leon Christopher Shaw, Jr.

Leon Christopher Shaw, Jr. the third child of Timico Deshawn Lacy, and the first born of Leon Christopher Shaw, Sr. was born on December 9, 1997 in Florence, South Carolina.  He peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, South Carolina after gun violence.  

He received his formal education at South Florence High School.  Leon was a loving brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and loyal friend.  He will be sorely missed but dearly remembered by his close family and friends. Although we would have loved to keep Leon here with us forever, God loves him enough to heal him and gave him the peace that he sought for so long.  

Those who share the joys and sadness of life with him and survived to cherish his loving memory are his siblings, Davion Lacy, Demontrey (Kedia) Lacy, Tyquana Shaw, and Taleon Shaw; six nephews and nieces, Denver Lacy, Demontrey Lacy, Jr., Demaryon Lacy, Kari Shaw, Jaheim Tyshawn Brown, Jr., Katelyn Lacy, and a host of other close relatives and friends.
