Margaret Marie Baxter

Margaret Marie Baxter, 70 was born on December 31, 1955, to the late David Theodore Baxter and Nallie Mae Brown Baxter.

Margaret comfortably gained her wings on the morning of January 29, 2026, at The Medical University of South Carolina in Orangeburg.

She was a graduate of Orangeburg - Wilkinson High School. Later Margaret became certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant at OC Tech. Later Margaret became employed as an CNA at Edisto Nursing Home then Orangeburg Nursing Home until she reached the age of retirement.

In her younger years she became a member of Bull Swamp Baptist Church. She served as anusher and a member of Bull Swamp Baptist Church Choir.

Margaret was preceded in death by her sister Patricia Ann Baxter, and two brothers, John Brown, and Michael Baxter.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her son Gregory (April) Baxter of Columbia, SC; grandson, Aiden Baxter of Columbia, SC; granddaughter, Karsyn Baxter (her princess) of Columbia, SC; a bonus son Desmond Baxter of North Charleston, SC; four brothers, Willie (Hatti)Brown, David (Patsy) Baxter, Theodore (Charlise) Baxter and Chris (Vivian) Baxter all of Orangeburg, SC; A close friend Gloria Carson of Orangeburg, SC and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
