A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, 3:00 PM at Saints Center Ministries, 106 Colson St. Walterboro, Bishop Phillip Taylor, Host Pastor, Reverend Kenniard Lee, Eulogist. Interment to follow in the Heavenly Rest Cemetery, Walterboro. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022, at the funeral home, 3:00-7:00 PM.
Mr. Marshall McMillon, Jr. was born on December 11, 1946 to the late Mr. Marshall McMillon, Sr. and the late Ruth Frasier McMillon in Walterboro, South Carolina. On Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Trident Medical Center surrounded by his family, Marshall Jr. traded time for eternity. He attended the public schools of Colleton County and graduated with the Colleton High School Class of 1965, the Wolverines.
Marshall Jr. enjoyed and retired from a career that spanned more than thirty years with the Eastman Kodak Company of Rochester, New York. He was a lover of life and enjoyed making others laugh.
Marshall Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall Sr. and Ruth Frasier McMillon; his siblings, Anna Ponds, Shirley McMillon and Mark McMillon.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories his children, Sharon Farmer of Atlanta, Georgia, Tammie McMillon of Walterboro, South Carolina, Horace (Tammie) Kirkland of Brunswick, Georgia, Sanquanetti Blocker of Walterboro, South Carolina and Martisha McMillon of Rochester, New York; his siblings, Richard Lee (Charlene) Bodison, and Nell Lights of Walterboro, South Carolina, Brenda (Irwin) Lewis of Charleston, South Carolina, and Terry McMillon of Moncks Corner, South Carolina; uncle, Wardell Frasier of California; a devoted niece, Jarvis McMillon; a devoted nephew, David Marshall Lights; fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
