Megee Antwa Broughton

Ms. Megee Antwa Broughton, 52, was born on August 25, 1969 in Manhattan, New York. She was the daughter of Mr. Roberto O'Neil and the late Ms. Venetha Broughton. She departed this life on August 28, 2021 at her residence in Walterboro, South Carolina.

Ms. Megee A. Broughton, affectionately known as Ganna was outgoing, loving, and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. She gave her life to Christ and accepted God as her personal Savior. She attended the Holy Temple Church in Walterboro, South Carolina.

She graduated from Ruffin High School and continued her education at Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Later, she worked as a Pharmacy Technician for Walmart and Walgreens for many years in Walterboro, South Carolina. Her pleasant personality enhanced her performance as she served her community members especially the elderly.

She was very outspoken and especially loved by her children, grandchildren and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Venetha Broughton; maternal grandparents, Johnny and Lueneter Broughton also Samuel and Aruth Belton.

Loving memories will forever be cherished by her five loving children, Candance Broughton, Carell Tabb, Justice Tabb, Jasmine Tabb, and Mia Tabb all of Walterboro, South Carolina; two sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Broughton Mole (Andrew of Florence, South Carolina and Vanessa Broughton Grant (Terrance) of Varnville, South Carolina; eight grandchildren, Kash, Iyanna, Unique, Imene, Malachi, Ivy, A'millyon, and  Brielle;  aunt, Carolyn Kalaskie (William); uncle, Jerome Belton (Jackie); five nephews, Mr. Imari Mole(Burgunce) of Charleston, South Carolina, Mr. Austin Mole of Phoenix, Arizona, Terrance Grant,  Jr., Torrance  Grant , and  Tarell Grant all of Varnville, South Carolina; one great niece, Catalina "Dollbaby" Mole of Charleston, South Carolina; special cousin, Mrs. Acquanette Broughton Smith; a loyal and long-time friend, Mr. Patrick Edwards of Walterboro, South Carolina
