Booker T. Green was born on August 31, 1944 in Dorchester County to the late Laura Green Fogle and John Green. He entered into eternal rest on Wednesday morning, December 13, 2023 in Walterboro, South Carolina.
He was educated in the public schools of Colleton County. Booker T. relocated to Brooklyn, New York as a young adult, where he was employed by Belmont Fish & Seafood until retirement. After retiring, he relocated to Smoaks, South Carolina. Booker enjoyed country living and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Laura Green Fogle and John Green; his brothers, Ernest Green, Louis Green, and James Green; his sisters, Elizabeth Drain and Rena Williams.
Booker T. leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter, Nicole (Brandon) Gardner of New York; one sister, Carrie (Thomas) Behling of New York, New York; two grandsons, Jaden and Landon Floyd of New York; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. One stood out, Brenda Jordan, because she was his match in talking trash, yet committed to ensuring he made it to routine medical appointments.
