Mr. Louis Mears

Louis Mears, the son of the late Mr. Solomon and Mrs. Addie McClendon Mears was born on July 21, 1955, in Walterboro, South Carolina. He departed this life on July 8, 2024, at Trident Medical Center, Charleston, South Carolina.

Louis was a resident of Walterboro, South Carolina all of his life. He attended Colleton County Public Schools.  Louis was also well known in his neighborhood and was friendly to all. He enjoyed riding his bike and spending time with his dog “King.” Louis will be greatly loved and sadly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Solomon and Addie McClendon Mears; his sisters, Hattie Miles, Loretta Mays, Betty Mears and Mary Brown; a brother, Jacob Mears.

He leaves to mourn, one brother, Ronnie Mears (Shirley) of Columbia, South Carolina; his long -time companion, Doreen Washington of Walterboro, South Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
