Rena Williams, 83, was born on October 10, 1940 in Dorchester County, to the late Laura Green Fogle and John Green. She entered into eternal rest on Thursday morning, October 26, 2023, at her home in Smoaks, South Carolina.
She was educated in the public schools of Colleton County. In Smoaks is where she met and married her husband, Johnnie C. Williams.
Rena was a member of Greater Mt. Olive A.M.E. Church in Smoaks, South Carolina. She worked at Smoaks Manufacturing Company for many years. After leaving Smoaks, she became a caregiver to her nieces and nephews, babysitting their children. Her hobbies included picking at her family and making them laugh. She really loved her family deeply. She enjoyed spending time with them and taking part in their "raising."
