Rebecca Salley

Rebecca Salley, the daughter of the late Mondell and Luella Bryant Salley was born on June 11, 1951. She entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 11, 2022, at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston, South Carolina.

She was educated in the public schools of Colleton County. Rebecca was a graduate of Ruffin High School in Ruffin, South Carolina. After completing high school, she worked for Young Wear Plant in Smoaks, South Carolina. Her past activities were yard work, riding, sight-seeing and helping out with grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Rebecca was a member of Springtown United Methodist Church in Smoaks, South Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mondell and Luella Bryant Salley; one brother, Wendell Salley; numerous aunts and uncles and a special friend, Johnnie Williams.

Rebecca leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving daughter, Tekisha (Deon) Williams; two special grandsons, Deandre Williams and  Eugene McTeer; one granddaughter, /niece, Timisha Linder; three sisters, Catherine Salley Hiers, Patricia Salley Newton and Janette Salley; one brother, Roy Salley; one great aunt, Albertha Brown; one uncle, David Bryant; five sisters-in-law, Patricia Salley, Shirley Salley, Doris Williams, Dot Washington and  Carolyn Williams; three special caregivers, Diane Glover, Sonya Salley and Lizzie Davidson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
