Regina was baptized in her youth at Bull Swamp Baptist Church and, in past years, served in the Usher Ministry and sang on the Young Adult Choir.

She was educated in Orangeburg County public schools, graduating from Orangeburg Wilkinson High School. In August 1973, Regina married the late Richard Keitt, and to this union two children were born.

Regina used her skills as a seamstress working for Amber Sewing Room. Her love of cooking was shared with the patrons of two restaurants for which she worked: The Place, as a short-order cook, and the Court Restaurant, as head cook.

She spent her final days cooking for her family, loving, enjoying, and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Regina was preceded in death by a brother, David Huggins, and three sisters, Doris Ann Huggins, Shirley Ruth Butler, and Mary Louise Keitt.

Regina leaves to cherish loving and fond memories her children: Scott Cornelius Keitt (Gwendolyn) of Jacksonville, FL, and Trina Yvette Keitt (Jonathan) of Orangeburg, SC and Deborah Keitt of Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren, Tanisha Q. Robinson, Imoni, Scott C. Jr., and Aniyah Keitt, of Jacksonville, FL, and Khadijah, Reneice, JeVante, Lashay, and James Thompson of Orangeburg, SC; great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Jaleyah; sister, Sharon Randolph (Nicholas); brothers, Henry J. Huggins (Esther), Nelson J. Huggins (Sheila), and Lavern Huggins (Elizabeth); sisters-in-law, Lizzie Williams, Bernice Butler (Joe), Letha Richardson, and Mildred Starks; and a devoted companion, Bobby Jennings of Orangeburg, SC. Regina’s love for children extended beyond her own and she was also a mother to Shaneak Smith of Orangeburg, SC.  Also, Regina leaves a host of nieces, nephew, cousins other relatives and friends to cherish her memories.
