Reverend Mikle Mosley Obituary

Reverend Mikle Mosley,  son of the late Mr. Earnest Mosley, Jr. and Mrs. Mary F. Linder Mosley was born on September 26, 1957 in Colleton County.  On Wednesday, October 6, 2021, God dispatched his Angel of Mercy to Colleton County Hospital in Walterboro SC to bring His good and faithful servant home.

He was a 1975 graduate of Ruffin High School.

Reverend Mosley was a member of Harvey Chapel Baptist Church, St. George, SC.  He endured a change in life but continued to keep his faith and trusted in God until he was called home.  He accepted Christ many years ago and made a renewal commitment to God in the ministry.

He was joined in holy matrimony to his high school sweetheart, Barbara Jean Stokes.  To this union four children were born.

He was the owner of M&M Drywall in Colleton County.  He later worked as a warehouse manager with Charleston Wrap until becoming the primary caregiver for his wife.

Reverend Mosley was the pastor of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Reevesville, SC having celebrated his 6th Pastoral Anniversary in August.

He enjoyed encouraging people about the word of God.  He was an inspiration to all of the young people.  His favorite saying was “All is Well” and he did not mind giving thanks and praising God. He served as Vice-Moderator of the Good Hope Missionary and Educational Union.

Reverend Mosley was a member of the Executive Board of the Lovely Hill Baptist Association and served faithfully as board clerk.
