Robert "Timmy" Perkins, Jr.

Robert “Timmy” Perkins, Jr. was born to Robert Perkins, Sr. and the late Mary Alice Perkins on  September 7, 1963, in Bishopville, South Carolina. Robert transitioned from this earthly life on Friday, March 28, 2025, in Lexington, South Carolina.

Robert was educated in the public schools of Bishopville, South Carolina and was a graduate of Bishopville High School.

Robert was a hard worker and was very skillful and talented. He had a passion for landscaping. He was a skilled and talented electrician with Bill Ross Electric for a numerous of years.

Robert joined hands in marriage to Jeanette Slater Perkins.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Slater Perkins; his mother, Mary Alice Perkins; two brothers, Donald and Ronald Perkins; a sister, Hope Marie Perkins; paternal grandparents, Hampton and Daisy Bell Alford; maternal grandparents, James and Classie Wilson.

Robert leaves to cherish his precious memories his father, Robert Perkins, Sr.; one sister, Cindy Perkins of the home; four brothers, Edward Pompey of Bronx, New York, Kelvin Perlans, of Bishopville, South Carolina; Shamane Bracey of Charlotte, North Carolina, Shari Bracey of Bishopville, South Carolina; seven special nephews, Eric Perkins of Portsmouth, Ohio, Darius Perkins of Bishopville, South Carolina, James Perkins of Bishopville, South Carolina, Zyian Bracey of Charlotte, North Carolina, Karim (Tequila) Holmes of Columbia, South Carolina, Laron (Shamecca) Perkins, of Columbia, South Carolina, and  Jeray Perkins of Florence, South Carolina; a special niece, Dwan Perkins of Bishopville, South Carolina; two special step sons, Levy Slater of Columbia, South Carolina and Dwann Slater of Monroe, North Carolina; relative like a mother, Naomi Benjamin of Bishopville, South Carolina; extended family of love, The Pearson Family; close-friend through life, Sammie Pearson, Jr. and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends of the family.
