Ms. Ruth Ann Williams was born on March 1, 1952 to James Williams Sr. and Anna Ruth Mosley Williams. She entered eternal rest on December 20, 2020 at her home in Smoaks, South Carolina.
Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Lovely Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Smoaks, South Carolina. Reverend Floyd W. White, Pastor and Eulogist.
(THOSE ATTENDING GRAVESIDE SERVICE ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR FACIAL MASKS, AND SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE ENFORCED.)
She attended the Public Schools of Philadelphia, PA. where she lived the early years of her life. She later moved to South Carolina and resided here until her death.
Ruth Ann was a member of Lovely Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Smoaks, South Carolina. She loved the Gospel song “This Little Light of Mine.” She loved reading and she loved cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James, and Anna Ruth Williams and two brothers, Air Force Chief Master Sargent James Williams, Jr., and Gregory Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memories: three nephews, and nieces; one sister-in-law, Effie Williams of Dover, Delaware; two aunts, Ethel Goff of Brooklyn, New York and Ruth Shuler of Queens, New York; a special friend, Rev. Betty Ann Hawkins of Smoaks, South Carolina and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
