Willie Homer Stephens
Obituary
Willie Homer Stephens was born on December 23, 1937 to the late Dan and Geneva Stephens in Islandton, South Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on February 14, 2022, at Colleton Medical Center, Walterboro, South Carolina.
He was educated in the public schools of Colleton County. He graduated from Ruffin High School in Ruffin, South Carolina. He was employed with Lightsey Brothers Forestry for forty years. He was a lifetime member of Toby's United Methodist Church where he served as a Trustee.
Willie was joined in Holy Matrimony to Lillie Jane Williams Stephens and to this union a daughter was born.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Geneva Stephens; his wife, Lillie Jane Williams Stephens; sister, Dorothy Perch and brother, James Stephens.
He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Tonya Colvin; his sister, Veta Williams (Sonny); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends.
